- Expression of Interest are invited for Regulatory and Commercial Assessment to Scale up Geothermal Electricity Generation in Guatemala The WB is seeking consulting services to support the MEM and the National Electrification Institute (INDE) in the definition and design of initiatives that facilitate the integration of geothermal energy into the electricity generation matrix of Guatemala. This involves addressing technical aspects related to the current state of development of the geothermal resource available in the country, as well as regulatory and commercial aspects, with their implications on transaction mechanisms in the energy market. NOTES Following this invitation for EOI, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding. Only those firms which have been shortlisted will be invited to participate in the RFP phase. No notification or debrief will be provided to firms which have not been shortlisted
